FWPHAR2208 - Operate a Mobile Chipper/Mulcher

This course outlines the skills and knowledge required to operate a hand-fed or machine-fed mobile chipping or mulching unit to chip or mulch timber refuse such as branches and other timber waste. The student with learn how too assess, plan and conduct the chipping of different species of material whilst following industry and workplace procedures, as well as carrying out routine inspection and operator maintenance of a chipper/mulcher.
