Level 3 Chemicals - Agricultural Chemical User Permit (ACUP)

This course outlines the required skills and knowledge to safely prepare and apply chemicals for the control of pests, weeds and diseases, using general application equipment and to safely handle, transport and store chemicals. The student will learn how to determine the need for chemical use and prepare and application form, prepare chemical mixes, calibrate application equipment, apply chemicals, clean up equipment and complete records, prepare to hand and transport chemicals, handle and transport chemicals, store chemicals in the workplace and record storage details.
